just saw the movie-network-,and can't believe how Paddy Chayefsky could be so brilliant to predict Donald Trump, who rode the Howard Beale character to the white house shouting-I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.

Thank you. It is not easy to find clear thinking in this great country today! I have already clicked on “the right side” and will continue to help where I’m able.

All I can tell you is that you gave me a headache and I didn't have to bang my head against any wall! Oy Veh, what to do. Well, as you said, we have him for 1,437 more days; we can never stop raising our voices; we can never stop pushing back while constantly reminding our elected rascals that they work for us (not the other way around); we must pray that before the 2018 mid-elections, both political parties give birth to leaders that we all can support.

I do not ever recall such animus in the political arena. There are voids in both parties.

Enjoyed your article. An excellent point and if I can really assimilate it, I can spare myself some grief. Hope things are going well (glad you can survive ingesting right wing news).

The biggest shame for our democracy is that 42% don't bother to vote. It's been like this for a long time. There was an interesting article in the NYTimes last week that examined the psychology of fans of the New England Patriots and why/how they overlooked the cheating of Bellichek and Brady. It seemed to me that this also would relate to Trumpers. My conclusion is that Trump's base of believers will not denounce him ever, for to do that they would have to admit that they had made a mistake in voting for him.
